A Hopkinsville man charged in connection to a fatal shooting on Richard Street last month was arraigned in Christian County Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon.
44-year old Daron Bell is charged with murder in the death of 36-year old Gregory Burse.
Bell appeared virtually from the Christian County Jail before Judge Andrew Self where a not guilty plea was entered on his behalf.

According to Hopkinsville Police, Bell shot Burse in the chest inside a home on Richard Street around 1:00 the morning of February 2. Burse was found unresponsive and taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center and later died from his injuries.
During an interview at police headquarters, Bell reportedly admitted to detectives that he shot Burse.
