A new trial date was set for a Madisonville man accused of a murder at a Hopkinsville motel in 2018.
Terrance Stepp is charged in connection to the death of 42-year old Tami Dragoo, whose body was found inside a room at King’s Court Motel on Fort Campbell Boulevard on the morning of March 7, 2018.
During a pretrial conference in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday morning, Judge John Atkins set Stepp’s trial for October 16-20, after two prior trial dates in March 2022 and September 2022 were postponed.
Judge Atkins also set a hearing for May 17th to hear a bond motion.
Stepp was indicted in by a Christian County grand jury in June 2020 on one count of first-degree murder.
