Just under a thousand Pennyrile Electric customers in the Rockcastle area of Trigg County will be without power for about three hours Sunday morning.
According to Vice President of Member Services Brent Gilkey, the outage will begin around 12:01 AM and affect customers that live on:
• Trigg Furnace
• Rockcastle Shores
• Peal’s Chapel Road
• State Route 274 East to the John E. Woodruff (Mershon’s) Bridge
• Rockcastle Road
• Goose Hollow Road
• Parkview Shores
• Cunningham Lane
• Rich Circle
• Carriage Cove
• Blue River Road
• Woodfield Drive
• Rockcastle Lakeshore Drive
Gilkey says they regret the interruption, but it is necessary to conduct routine maintenance on a substation transformer. In case of inclement weather, the interruption will be rescheduled for a later date.
