Family graveside memorial services for 84-year-old Lyle Bowling, of Cadiz, will be 1 PM Sunday, May 7, at Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville.
King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Wife of 58 years, Annette “Annie” Bowling, of Cadiz;
Son, Dan Bowling, of Cadiz;
Daughter, Lisa (Josh) Calvert, of Bradenton, Florida;
Brother, Larry (Jackie) Bowling, of Bowling Green;
And three grandchildren.
Rev. Norman Cotton is officiating.
He was born in Sassafras, Kentucky, on October 12, 1938, to General Bowling and Cassie Davidson Bowling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Juanita Harris, Inez Snoots and Wanda Griffin.
He died Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Barkley Plantation in Cadiz.
He was a US Army Veteran, retired engineer from the Kentucky State Transportation Department and was a Baptist minister having served as a member and pastor of the Swallowfield Baptist Church in Frankfort.
