Voting is underway through the end of the month for the 2023 Best in Kentucky awards presented by Kentucky Living magazine.
Joe Arnold, Vice-President of Strategic Communications at Kentucky Electric Cooperatives, tells Your News Edge there were a record number of nominations this year.
Arnold says those who vote at KentuckyLiving.com will be put into a drawing for prizes with the Best in Kentucky awards truly showcasing what makes the Commonwealth great.
Throughout the first week of May, the ballot had received over 6,000 votes, while the entire ballot only received about 12,000 votes last year.
Locally, Land Between The Lakes is nominated in the outdoor category for ‘Place for Adventure’ and ‘Public Hunting or Fishing Spot.’
