Officials have announced that Brianna Hyde is set to be the next Renaissance On Main director for the City of Cadiz.
Her first day will be May 30, just after Memorial Day.
She comes to the position from Trigg County Hospital, and boasts 10 years of event-planning experience.
Following in the footsteps of five others, Hyde is the sixth to hold the post since 2019.
The position has several requirements, most importantly managing the Farmers Market and Crafters Corner, as well as Junque Fest. Furthermore, the Renaissance Center and Renaissance Stage fall in this purview, as does the major organization of the annual Trigg County Country Ham Festival.
The office also bears guidelines for historic preservation, city rehabilitation and architectural design & review requests from the city and the public.
She’s married to Jeffrey and they have three children. She’s also a consistent participant in the local pageant circuit.
