A Clarksville man was charged with drug trafficking after a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Oak Grove Tuesday morning.
Oak Grove Police say they stopped 36-year-old Michael Walker for speeding and during the stop, they could smell the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. As officers checked on an active warrant for failure to appear on Walker he reportedly dropped marijuana out of the vehicle. Walker was also found to have a driver’s license that had been suspended since April of 2021.
Police say after a search of the vehicle marijuana and a digital scale were found. He was arrested and charged with speeding, operating on a suspended or revoked license, tampering with physical evidence, and trafficking marijuana.
