An Oak Grove man and woman were charged with cruelty to animals after an investigation on Harbor Drive Tuesday afternoon.
Oak Grove Police say they were called to investigate two dogs that had been left out in their crates in the hot temperatures. During the investigation, the owners of the dogs 22-year-old Hunter Deering and 26-year-old Amber Chartrand were both cited to court for second-degree cruelty to animals.
The incident was investigated by the Oak Grove Police Department and the Oak Grove Animal Control Officer
