Funeral services for 85-year-old Richard Thomas Hancock, of Hopkinsville, will be 11 AM Friday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home.
A private burial will be held at a later date in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Thursday.
Survivors include:
Wife of 63 years, Clara Marie Hancock, of Hopkinsville;
Son, Tommy (Missy) Hancock, of Crestview, Florida;
Daughter, Robin (Charlie) Henderson, of Hopkinsville;
Brothers, Edward Hancock of Princeton, Benny and Larry Gene Hancock of Hopkinsville;
Four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He died Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Bradford Heights Nursing Home.
He was born May 14, 1938, in Hopkinsville, the son of the late Elmo and Katie Mae Cayce Hancock.
Hancock retired from PRECC and was a member of New Work Fellowship.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray and Billy Hancock; his sisters, Rosie Robertson, Louise Harper and Ruby Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of choice.
