Hopkinsville native John Peck is the new President of F & M Bank that has locations in Kentucky and Tennessee.
The announcement was recently made by the bank with Peck moving from his previous role as Executive Vice President. Peck joined F & M Bank in 2021. He will fill the role currently held by Sammy Stuard, who will continue to serve as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the bank.
Stuard said they were proud to name John as the bank’s President. He adds Peck is a proven leader and team builder with an impressive resume of banking experience that spans over 30 years in Middle Tennessee and Kentucky. Stuard adds in Peck’s new role he will oversee the day to day sales and service operations of F & M Bank, which will include the planning and executing of strategic growth plans. Stuard adds he is confident this tactical change further aligns the Bank’s management team to be more effective as they continue to grow and add scale.
Peck said it is an honor to serve in the role of President of F & M Bank. He adds his plan is to continue working alongside the leadership team and partner with key stakeholders to develop and prioritize strategies that will effectively position F & M in the marketplace.
Peck earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisville and is a graduate of LSU’s Graduate School of Banking.
