The entire region is invited to celebrate the 4th of July holiday in downtown Elkton Monday night, with a free fireworks show sponsored by B.R. Knuckles Insurance Agency.
Johnny Knuckles, with the local insurance agency, tells Your News Edge there will be a lot of family-friendly activities on Elkton’s square beginning at 5:30.
Knuckles says his company has sponsored this event for the last 20+ years.
Elkton’s town square will be closed beginning at 4:00 Monday afternoon, vehicles will need to be cleared before that time. The Justice Center parking lot will be roped off by 3:00 PM.
Other firework shows happening in and around Todd County include:
- The City of Guthrie is hosting an event Friday, June 30th, at Longhurst Park from 5:00 to 9:15 PM. Events include live music from Brock Sawyer & The Highway 41 Band and Jacob Johnson.
- The Pembroke Freedom Celebration happens Monday, July 3rd, it includes a concert from Todd County native Corey Farlow and fireworks from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at 144 South Main Street.
- Fort Campbell will celebrate our nation’s independence on Tuesday, July 4th, from 4:00 to 10:30 PM. Festivities on the installation include a Kids Zone, live music by Lynyrd Skynyrd, and a fireworks show.
