Funeral services for 68-year-old Herbert Calvin Wharton, of Trigg County, will be Saturday morning, July 8, at 11:00, at Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville.
Burial will follow in Patterson Cemetery.
Visitation will begin Saturday morning at 10:00 at the funeral home.
He passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Herbert is the son of the late Joe and Dorothy Wharton. He was born on January 6, 1955, in Trigg County.
Herbert was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church and worked as a mechanic with AutoRama. He enjoyed fixing and working on cars, fishing, hunting, and cooking on the grill.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Wharton, and Clayton Wharton.
Survivors include his children, Maurice (Susan) Bacon, Paul Wharton, and Sierra Wharton, and four grandchildren.
