Jo Ann Stokes Johns, age 64, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at her home in Cadiz.
Born January 3, 1959, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she was the daughter of Georgia Jones Stokes of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and the late Billy Stokes.
Jo Ann was a homemaker and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafts and interior decorating. Jo Ann had a great love for her family and “fur babies” and the gift of making everyone around her laugh and smile.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Stokes.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Michael Johns of Cadiz; two sons, B-Jay Aldridge (Gwen Parrill) of Cadiz, and Shawn Aldridge (Glenda Lynn) of Portland, OR; a daughter, Mandi Aldridge of Clarksville, TN; one grandchild, Silas Aldridge; four brothers, Billy Stokes (Jennifer) of NC, Jimmy Stokes (Sandra) of Hopkinsville, Tony Stokes (Lori) of Titusville, FL, David Stokes of Hopkinsville; a sister, Tammy Dillard (David) of KS; niece, Ivy Stokes Foster (James); and three great-nieces, Isabella Profitt, Maci Profitt and Zoey Profitt.
