Bruce Mitchell Morgan, age 61, passed away on August 5, 2023, at Dover Care Center. He was a lifelong resident of Stewart County.
After graduating from Murray State University, he taught agriculture at Stewart County High School but later chose a career as a farrier in Middle Tennessee/Southern Kentucky.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Brandon’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Bumpus Mills, Tennessee. A private burial will be held at a later date.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Rosa Williams Morgan of the Bumpus Mills Community.
He is survived by his brother, Ross (Brenda) Morgan, Hopkinsville; sisters, Rita (Kenneth Lynn Jobe) Morgan, New Concord; Fern (Bob) Perry, The Villages, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt Thank you to the staff at Dover Care Center Nursing Home for the loving care and devotion given to their brother during his stay there.
