A Christian County man was sentenced Wednesday, for possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine in McCracken County.
According to court documents, Michael Crawford, 29, of Oak Grove, possessed with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more in the northwest Kentucky county.
U.S. Attorney Michael A. Bennett of the Western District of Kentucky, Special Agent in Charge Jodi Cohen of the FBI Louisville Field Division, and Paducah Police Chief Brian Laird made the announcement.
Crawford was sentenced to seven years and three months in prison, followed by five years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of Paducah and the Paducah Police Department.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Leigh Ann Dycus, of the U.S. Attorney’s Paducah Branch Office, prosecuted the case.
