Police have released the name of a Hopkinsville man and woman injured in a wreck on Richard Street Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say an SUV driven by 67-year-old Sherry Adcock and a car driven by 36-year-old Kerry Reece of Clarksville were parked on the side of the road when an eastbound car driven by 22-year-old Donte Dixon hit Adcock’s SUV pushing it off the road before hitting Reece’s car.
Dixon reportedly told police he was swerving for a dead animal in the roadway.
Dixon and Adcock were treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
The crash happened just after 5 am.
