A Hopkinsville man was charged with wanton endangerment and assault after a fight with his child’s mother on Calvin Drive Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 24-year-old Kyle Mottley grabbed the steering wheel to the woman’s vehicle and she accelerated the vehicle to get him off of the car causing the vehicle to run off the road. He then allegedly struck her with his fist busting her lip before fleeing the area.
Police say he was located on East 21st Street and pulled away from officers as they arrested him.
He is charged with second-degree wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, and fourth-degree assault (domestic violence).
