A man was charged with DUI after a wreck on Interstate 24 in Trigg County that sent a woman to the hospital Monday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV driven by 27-year-old Adam Sprague of Missouri was eastbound when it hit the back of a box truck in front of it two miles west of the US 68 exit.
A passenger in Sprague’s SUV was taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital where a helicopter flew her to a Nashville hospital.
Sprague was arrested and charged with DUI and first-degree wanton endangerment.
The crash happened just before midnight.
The crash was investigated by Deputy Ryan Gallogly and Sgt. Robert Schneider.
