Funeral services for 82-year-old Carol Fuller Atwood Carter, of Kuttawa, will be noon Tuesday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Monday.
Survivors include:
Husband, Bruce Carter, of Kuttawa;
Son, Tommy (Robin) Atwood, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee;
Daughter, Penny Atwood (Jackie) Jones, of Hopkinsville;
Step-daughter, Nicole Carter, of Louisville;
Two sisters, Dot McCargo and Cynthia (Mike) Atkins, both of Hopkinsville;
And one grandchild.
Rev. Mike Atkins and Jed Ramey are officiating.
She died at 12:37 p.m., Thursday, August 31, 2023 at her home.
A native of Hopkinsville, she was the daughter of the late George E. Fuller and Modelle Robertson Fuller.
She was a bank teller and secretary at Hopkinsville Federal Savings Bank for 20 years. She also worked for Pennyrile Electric, Phelps Dodge, was an agent with Combined Insurance Company and ran the Dairy Kreme in Gracey with her husband from 2002 until 2012.
She was a former member of St. John Methodist Church in Hopkinsville and was currently a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.
