Drivers will soon be able to travel faster along U.S. 68 west of Cadiz when the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet installs new speed limit signs.
Trigg County Judge Executive Stan Humphries told magistrates during Tuesday’s fiscal court meeting he recently received good news from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Judge Humphries says the change will impact the western section of 68.
The speed limit along the U.S. 68 Bypass and through Land Between the Lakes will remain 55 miles per hour.
The change in speed limit was recently requested by a resolution that was passed by the Trigg County Fiscal Court. Be on the lookout for new speed limit signs in the next few days.
