Families needing assistance this holiday season can sign up through the end of October to receive support from the Salvation Army in Hopkinsville.
Lieutenant Lindsay Galabeas tells Your News Edge they are able to make Christmas a little better for children and senior adults.
Registration can be completed online here through October 31, or in-person sign-ups will occur on Monday, October 2, and Thursday, October 5 at 310 E. 7th Street in Hopkinsville. The in-person registration will be available both days from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Spanish-speaking translators will be able to assist, as well.
If you need this assistance, you will need to provide a valid photo ID, a birth certificate or Medicaid card that shows each child’s birthdate, verification of need, a current utility bill or rent receipt, a phone number, and clothing and shoe sizes for each child.
