Born February 14, 1962, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Nacy Carlton Sanders and the late Delores Ann Thomas Sanders.
Benita had worked at Trace Industries and Tri-Counties in Hopkinsville. She loved listening to music and enjoyed watching trains, school buses, and big trucks, especially yellow ones, as they passed by.
