Gail Alexander Finley passed away on:
10:54 AM, Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Trigg County Hospital in Cadiz, KY
Born March 7, 1935, in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, she was the youngest of five children of the late Milo Alexander and the late Lola Burris Alexander.
After graduating from Sinking Fork High School in 1953, Gail was employed by the International Shoe Company in Hopkinsville. There she met Randel Finley, who was back from serving two tours in the Korean War. They were married on November 4, 1954, and were blessed with three children, a son, Barron R., and two daughters, Sandy and Jill. She went on to work in the medical records department and front office of Trigg County Hospital, where she retired with 23 years of service.
Gail was a longtime member of Hurricane Baptist Church. She was a compassionate, hardworking, witty woman who loved to socialize and never met a stranger. She was a loving mother and Nana and deeply treasured her family and the time spent with them.
