A man was charged after he attempted to break into a church and Christian County Tuesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they were called to the area around 3 p.m. for someone attempting to break into Judges Chapel Church on North Greenville Road and located the suspect 36-year-old Matthew Foe in a traffic stop at the 6000 block of Crofton Fruit Hill Road.
After a law enforcement K9 reportedly alerted on Foe’s vehicle, 20 grams of suspected synthetic drugs, a pipe, and Gabapentin pills were located.
Foe was arrested and charged with failure to produce an insurance card, possession of burglary tools, third-degree burglary, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), and possession of synthetic drugs.
