A Hopkinsville man was charged after he fled on foot from law enforcement on Younglove Street in Hopkinsville Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle for a turn signal violation and the passenger 33-year-old Antonio Haskins got out and fled on foot. Police say 27-year-old Kent Wheeler threatened officers while they were looking for Haskins and caused public annoyance by making unreasonable noise.
Wheeler was arrested and charged with menacing and second-degree disorderly conduct.
Haskins was located hiding in a woodline and arrested and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
