Officials with Oak Grove Tourism announced Friday that they recently received acclaim from the International Festival & Events Association for the annual “Spring Into Summer Salutes Fort Campbell” celebration.
Now a well-established festival known for having everything free to attend, it’s been running 16 years, and it has gained a reputation as a premier festival in the community.
As such, it received the “Bronze Pinnacle” award for “Best Overall Entertainment Program” at the October 9, 66th Annual International Festival & Events Association Convention held in McAllen, Texas.
It was labeled a standout event in the global festival landscape, and reaffirms its commitment to excellence.
Traci Cunningham, Oak Grove Tourism’s executive director, said they were “truly humbled and honored” to receive the award, and that it was the passion, dedication and creativity of her team and the unwavering support of loyal attendees that makes this festival what it is today.
