When the partnership between Pennyrile Electric and Hopkinsville Electric System’s energynet reaches its eventual end – the regional utility provider will finish its meter changes to better serve customers.
Pennyrile’s Vice-President of Member Services Brent Gilkey told Your News Edge things will change when all of their customers have reliable, high-speed internet at home.
Energynet is working on internet expansion projects in Christian and Todd counties. Additional expansions are planned next year for some residents of Caldwell, Christian, Logan, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg counties.
