Funeral services for 96-year-old Velma Lorene Noel Stallons, of Cadiz, will be noon Friday at King’s Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
Son, Freddie Stallons (Kay), of Roanoke, Indiana;
Sister, Mildred Demers (Dick), of Michigan;
Six grandchildren, as well as several great- and great-great grandchildren.
This includes a special granddaughter, as well as care provider, seeing her through the end in Darla Arellano.
Rev. Lester Watson is officiating.
She was born in Cadiz on November 7, 1926 ,to George A. Noel and Myra Lancaster Noel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Stallons; daughter, Charlotte Gallegos and two brothers, Conrad Noel and Doris Noel.
She died Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Markle Health and Rehabilitation in Markle, Indiana.
She was a homemaker, a member of the East Cadiz Baptist Church and she enjoyed serving in the ministry alongside her husband, Rev. Dalton Stallons. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and serving in various other churches in the surrounding counties and states.
