Funeral services for 80-year-old Joyce Taylor Rogers, of Hopkinsville, will be noon Friday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
Three sons, Stephen Trent (Joanna) Rogers, of Valdosta, Georgia, Phillip Jay (Heather) Rogers, of Bluffton, South Carolina, and John Leslie (Michelle) Rogers, of Hopkinsville;
Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Rev. David Tucker is officiating.
A native of Christian County, she was born August 25, 1943, the daughter of late Arnold E. Taylor and Edna Chewning Taylor.
She was a retired administrative assistant/hearing officer for the driver’s license hearing office. She was a charter member of the Hopkinsville Legal Secretaries, the Christian County Democratic Woman’s Club, and the Katherine Peden Business & Professional Women’s Club. She was a member of Second Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John Whitney Rogers; her brother: Glen Taylor; and her sister: Jeanette McGhee.
