A wreck on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville sent two women to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say a car driven by 47-year-old Felicia Howard of Hopkinsville was stopped at a red light along with a truck driven by 18-year-old Trenton Hillard of Island that was behind her.
A car driven by 20-year-old Jacob Williams of Hopkinsville was reportedly behind Hillard when Williams attempted to stop he hit the gas pedal causing his vehicle to collide with Hillard’s vehicle pushing it into Howard’s car.
Howard and a passenger in Hillard’s truck 18-year-old Zoey Greer of Island were treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
The crash happened at the intersection of South Campbell Street just before 3 p.m.
