A dog found deceased in a crate on West Edmund Street has led to a criminal investigation Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say someone called animal control about a dog that was deceased in a wire crate under a carport.
No arrest has been made but the report lists the charges as second-degree cruelty to animals and torture of a dog.
