She was born on December 19, 1961, in Hammond, IN to Cleatus and Caroline Jureitz Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Smith and one sister, Victoria Smith.
She passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.
Susan was a Retired Prison Guard from the State of Indiana, a member of the Refuge Church and previously served as a Girl Scout Leader.
