The Trigg County Sheriff’s Department and local businesses are coming together to provide presents for families in need this year.
Sheriff Aaron Acree told Your News Edge they will host an event on Thursday, December 14, to make Christmas brighter.
Faye Godair from the sheriff’s office added that businesses and individuals can still donate money for this shopping spree.
Both shared this program has touched their hearts.
The sheriff’s office and Cash Express in Cadiz will also host a toy drive on Friday, December 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Items to be collected that day include new toys, coats, and monetary donations, with all proceeds to be handed over to the Trigg County Ambulance Christmas program.
