Businesses in downtown Hopkinsville could see the benefits of a Downtown Entertainment District in the near future.
Tuesday night during the Hopkinsville City Council Committee of the Whole meeting, City Attorney Doug Willen explained what the district would allow.

In other business, the Committee approved renaming East 21st Street, from South Virginia to Fort Campbell Boulevard, as Bill Flynn Boulevard and renaming East 8th Street, from South Virginia to the CSX railroad, as bell hooks Way.
