A deer on Interstate 24 in Christian County damaged multiple vehicles and sent three people to the hospital on Thanksgiving Day.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Collings says an SUV driven by Karen Muscia of Pennsylvania was eastbound just past the Fort Campbell Boulevard exit when her SUV hit a deer crossing the road.
Karen Muscia and her passenger William Muscia were treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville for their injuries.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Louis Armstrong says a car driven by Jenna Carter of Florida hit the same deer along with three other vehicles traveling eastbound.
Jenna Carter was also transported by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Health for her injuries.
Deputies say all of the other drivers reported damage but were not injured in the crash. The crash happened just after 12 a.m.
