Like many families in west Kentucky, Weather Edge forecaster David Powell sees a beautiful day unfolding for Thanksgiving.
That cool, comfortable weather pattern will continue through the end of the holiday week.
The weekend, however, does bring about a crisp, bitter cold.
And the potential for brief flurries.
Precipitation, he added, will be light over the weekend.
Temperatures will warm slightly next week, before the first December weekend brings with it a cold front — and a blast of winter air.
Powell said most of south western Kentucky has caught up on needed rain totals, and that November proved to be a warmer-than-normal month.
