Scarlett Faye Stamps Allen, age 78, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on November 30, 2023, in Arlington, TX of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 8, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Gary Puryear officiating and burial to follow at McKinney Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Allen was born on March 9, 1945, in Hopkinsville, KY, the daughter of the late Adrian and Mary Lee Crunk Stamps. Scarlett was a self-employed accountant and a member of North Davis Church of Christ in Arlington, TX.
Survivors include her sons, Gary Allen (Tammy) of Hopkinsville, KY, Keith Allen of Arlington, TX, and Scott Allen (Sandra) of Hopkinsville, KY; her brother Jimmy Stamps of Hopkinsville, KY; her nine grandchildren; and her twenty-one great-grandchildren.
