A Hopkinsville woman was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on Russellville Road in Christian County Monday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 45-year-old Julie Ramirez for going 5 mph over the speed limit and during the stop, officers could smell the odor of marijuana.
After a search of her vehicle, meth along with a small amount of marijuana were reportedly found. Police say Ramirez was found to have a second bag of meth in her underwear after a body scan at the jail.
She is charged with speeding, operating on a suspended or revoked license, failure to maintain required insurance trafficking meth, and tampering with physical evidence.
