The boil water advisory issued Thursday afternoon for Christian County Water District customers in Lafayette, including several side roads in the area, has been lifted.
Heath Howell with the Water District says the water in this area has been tested and deemed safe.
The boil water advisory was issued due to a repair made to a line break Thursday. It affected customers in Lafayette, including customers with addresses of 124 – 1500 Roaring Springs and all addresses on North Main and South Main streets in Lafayette, Oakland Avenue, Bryan Avenue, Weathers Avenue, Old Hopkinsville Road, Church Street, Harrison Street, Cross Street, Old Clarksville Pike, White Street, Cheatham Lane, Canton Road, Lane Street, and Creek Street.
