Ron Anderson passed away at 1:26 PM, Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at his home in Cadiz
Born July 4, 1941, in Evansville, he was the son of the late Henry Anderson and Dorothy (Beaven) Daniel.
Ron worked for many years for Brick Oven Bakeries in Great Scot Supermarket and was a regional sales manager for Field Packing Co. before retiring to Cadiz and spending his retirement on Lake Barkley, which he loved. He was a faithful member of Cadiz Methodist Church where he was a proud member of the choir and security team and was past president of the Methodist Men’s group and nursery volunteer. He further extended his servant’s heart as a volunteer with the R.S.V.P. program and took snacks to his special buddies at Trigg Manor every week where they looked forward to seeing “The Snack Man”. He also volunteered alongside his late wife, Paulette, at Pennyroyal Hospice for nearly twenty years and at Genesis Express. Ron was also a Kentucky Colonel. He had a heart for God and cherished his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Paulette Rumage Anderson; a daughter, Michele Diane Marx; a granddaughter, Amber Dawn Hamilton; and two brothers, Billy Anderson and Gary Anderson.
