Funeral services for 88-year-old Helen Mannahan Oglesby, of Crofton, will be Saturday, January 13, at Voice of Faith Church.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Dogwood Funeral & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include:
Her daughter, Valerie (Alan) Hill, of Madisonville;
Her brother, Truman Mannahan, of St. Charles;
Three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Reverend Clint Hopper is officiating. There will be a meal to follow at Voice of Faith Church.
She died at 2:22 p.m., December 31, 2023, at Tristar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
A native of Hopkins County, she was born October 2, 1935 the daughter of late Samuel Mannahan and Susie Mayes Mannahan.
She spent her working years as an in-home child care provider.
She was a member the Christian County Marching Band Booster Club and a member of Voice of Faith Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: William Daniel “Bill” Oglesby; son: William Delaney “Toby” Oglesby; brothers: Leroy Mannahan; Franklin Mannahan; Lowell Daniel Mannahan; and Joy Delaney Mannahan; sisters: Wanda Faye Lewis; Retha May Manire; June Queen; Nancy Jean Mart; and Wilma Lois Barnes.
