Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Next Winter Weather Round

The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the next round of wintry precipitation that is expected to impact western Kentucky.

The advisory is in effect from 10:00 Thursday morning to 9:00 Friday morning. Meteorologist Sean Poulos says the main concerns will be light ice accumulation and additional snowfall.

The high Thursday will hover around the freezing mark and the low will drop to 20. Friday will bring even colder temperatures and wind gusts from the northwest up to 25 MPH.
