A Cadiz man has been indicted by a Christian County grand jury on multiple charges including fleeing from law enforcement and criminal mischief.
A true bill was returned on Earl Ray Cook, Jr. on charges of first-degree fleeing or evading police in a vehicle, first-degree fleeing or evading police on foot, operating on a suspended/revoked operator’s license, reckless driving, first-degree criminal mischief and speeding 26 mph over or greater than the speed limit.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office previously reported that Cook was wanted on several felony warrants and had fled from law enforcement multiple times. He was arrested in August 2023, and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
According to the indictment, the criminal mischief charge stems from July 14, 2023, when Cook allegedly caused more than $1,000 worth of damage to property owned by U-Haul.
