Legislators Discuss Needs To Be Addressed In State Budget

Area legislators are working to get priorities added to the proposed state budget for the next two years with initial passage of the spending plans coming soon.

Third District State Senator Whitney Westerfield says one of the needs that will hopefully make the state budget is a pay raise for employees of the Pennyrile Allied Community Services and other agencies that serve the senior population.
