A Christian County man was charged after he led law enforcement on a pursuit on North Drive Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop 30-year-old Cory Allen after he hit a mailbox and was unable to maintain his lane while speeding on North Drive.
He reportedly fled turning onto Richard Street before coming to a stop and was tased twice before he was taken into custody. Police say during the arrest an officer’s clothing was damaged.
Allen was arrested and charged with speeding, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, first-degree fleeing or evading police, second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and possession of synthetic drugs.
