Funeral services for 79-year-old Jerry Lee Gresham of Hopkinsville will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the funeral hour. Masonic Rites will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Jerry Lee Gresham of Hopkinsville, KY died at 7:16 a.m. Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Tennessee State Veteran’s Home in Clarksville, TN.
A native of Cerulean, KY he was born May 28, 1944 the son of the late William Clarence Gresham and Eva Leigh Woosley Gresham. He was retired after 42 years of service to the Kentucky National Guard. He also retired from the Christian County Road Department after 27 years. He was a member of the Hopkinsville Masonic Lodge. Jerry was a longtime country music drummer, a Harley Davidson enthusiast, and a pilot. He was also a member and elder at Sinking Fork Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Malcolm Gresham, Waldo Gresham, and Gayle Gresham.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years: Patsy Armstrong Gresham; his children: Angela Lee (Hank) Hendon of Hopkinsville, KY, Barry (Mary) Gresham of Pleasant View, TN, and Cheslea (Steve) Brown of Hopkinsville, KY; his brother: Merle (Betty) Gresham of Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren: Kayce (Chris) Gilkey, Carson Brown, and Connor Brown; and his great grandson: Brooks Gilkey.
