Marion Burnett Talley, 86, Hopkinsville, passed on Friday, February 9, 2024, of natural causes.
Marion, the son of the late D.S. and Evie Dudley Talley, was born on March 12, 1937, in Todd County.
Marion was a member of Mt. Pisgah Church in Todd County. He also attended Gainsville Baptist Church. Marion worked in maintenance at U.S Tobacco.
He enjoyed fixing lawnmowers and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Queen Esther Talley, and Robert Talley and Harry Talley.
Survivors include 3 sisters, Mary White, Pastor Martha (Clayton) Howell, Queen (Dennis) Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be on Thursday, February 15 at noon at Gamble Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday morning at 11:00.
