A Hopkinsville woman was charged after she allegedly ran from law enforcement during a traffic stop on East 13th Street Saturday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 31-year-old Tia Eagen and she got out and fled on foot before attempting to get into another vehicle.
She reportedly told deputies she feared she had warrants and that’s why she ran.
She was arrested and charged with first-degree fleeing or evading police.
