JoAnn Neely, 89, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
No services will be held. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Avalon, Pennsylvania she was born on August 30, 1934, the daughter of the late William James Glover and Sarah Brown Glover. Sarah worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse as well as being a devoted wife and mother to three children.
In addition to her parents, she also is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Elmer Neely; and two sons-in-law.
Survivors include her son: Stephen (Yasmin) Neely of Franklin Park, New Jersey; daughters: Sallie FitzPatrick of Clarksville, Tennessee; and Diane “Dee” Childress of Clarksville, Tennessee; grandchildren: Katie Hallett; Kyle FitzPatrick; Landon Childress; Cassiopeia Neely; and Syleen Neely; great-grandchildren: Amelia Hallett; and Nolan Hallett.
