A Christian County man was charged with drug possession after being arrested on a warrant for theft on Tobacco Road in Gracey Monday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Josh Stallons says Kevin Okum was arrested on warrants for theft by deception and deceptive business practices.
Stallons says the warrants are in connection to an investigation were Okum portrayed himself as a reputable mechanic and took $510 for fixing an oil leak that he didn’t fix and the power steering pump was found damaged when the vehicle was returned to the owner.
During the arrest, he was reportedly found to have a handgun, marijuana, and 7 containers of Tannerite in his possession.
Okum was also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
